Scientist: 20 posts (Civil Engineering - 10, Chemical Engineering -7, Mechanical Engineering-1, Electrical Engineering-2),

Essential Qualification:Area – Civil Engineering: Ph.D. (Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering or M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Civil/ Environmental Engineering.

Ph.D.(Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Structural Engineering with a focus on Wind Engineering or M.E./ M.Tech. or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Area – Chemical Engineering: Ph.D. (Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Chemical Engineering with focus on Fire Engineering or M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Industrial safety of Hazards Management

Area –Electrical Engineering: Ph.D. (Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Electrical Engineering with focus on Energy Efficient Systems or M.E./ M.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation/Energy

Area – Mechanical Engineering: Ph.D.(Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Solid Mechanics/Machine Design or M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Solid Mechanics.

Fee: Rs.100/- (US $25 for candidates applying from abroad) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of Director, CBRI payable at State Bank of India (Code No.10635), CBRI Branch, Roorkee. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women/ Ex-SM/ CSIR Employees.
