Scientist: 20 posts (Civil Engineering - 10, Chemical Engineering -7, Mechanical Engineering-1, Electrical Engineering-2), Essential Qualification:Area – Civil Engineering: Ph.D. (Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering or M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Civil/ Environmental Engineering. Ph.D.(Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Structural Engineering with a focus on Wind Engineering or M.E./ M.Tech. or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering. Area – Chemical Engineering: Ph.D. (Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Chemical Engineering with focus on Fire Engineering or M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Industrial safety of Hazards Management Area –Electrical Engineering: Ph.D. (Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Electrical Engineering with focus on Energy Efficient Systems or M.E./ M.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation/Energy Area – Mechanical Engineering: Ph.D.(Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Solid Mechanics/Machine Design or M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Solid Mechanics.
